Thank you for passing by! This little corner of the internet will be shaped by essays, people, and places that are quietly influencing the way I experience the world.

 

Some posts will be stories, others reflections, lists, or small observations about language, culture, and everyday life as a late bloomer in the digital nomading world. Some will be about my homecountry Dominican Republic, or my current city Medellín, perhaps somewhere in between too?Most of the time I write in English (as my first post will explain it's my dominant language) but sometimes I will write in Spanish, Dominican Spanish and hopefully Italian too.

 

But more than anything, these posts are written by someone learning how to move through a very harsh world without losing her empathy or sense of whimsy in the process. This blog is part of that practice: trying to name things instead of judging them, to understand patterns instead of reacting to them, and to stay open to people and experiences even when it would be easier not to.

I’m a full-time creative assistant and copywriter who finds it much easier to write about ideas than about herself, so consider this blog an ongoing practice in doing both at once. There’s no guidebook here, no instructions on how to live or be. Just curiosity, memory, and the people and places that keep my sense of wonder intact.
